Customer Reviews

Lynn Ann Ford 2008-08-04
Enterprise Readiness 101 will be of value to software developers, project managers, and product managers. The materials are clear, concise, and consistently to the point: -- defining the characteristics of a larger (enterprise) business as it pertains to IT requirements -- describing the success factors for product entry to the enterprise business market -- providing further details on major factors (e.g. scalability), as well as more subtle points (e.g. positioning) -- using real world examples throughout making the materials more tangible and applicable. The CD is well-manufactured: good audio, simple and clear graphics, and well-organized. The listener can go through the materials in their entirety, or select specific topics in any order. Understanding Enterprise Readiness concepts, as covered in the course, will "make or break" any product launch . As a Consulting Manager, these concepts are are of such critical importance that they are part of every solution and proposal that I craft. I highly recommend this course to any IT professional striving to be more successful with larger IT customers. Lynn Ann Ford, PMP Director of Delivery CIBER Texas

Midwest Book Review 2008-04-10
Enterprise Readiness 101 is a seminar on a PC CD-ROM, and was created with the guidance of industry professionals for the specific purpose of teaching aspiring entrepreneurs, as well as sales and marketing professionals, about information technology environments and customers. In the modern world where IT is an increasingly crucial driving force, Enterprise Readiness 101 is invaluable for its hands-on wisdom, presented in a "technology agnostic" approach readily accessible to viewers of all backgrounds. The lectures includes in-depth definitions of modern IT terms, behavioral characteristics that customers are known to demand, dos and don'ts vital to keep in mind, how to create functionality that "greases the wheels" of sales and marketing efforts, and much more. Over ten hours of lectures are packed on a single disc, in this invaluable corporate training and self-teaching aid. (Users are required to have Microsoft Internet explorer 5.0 or later and Windows Media Player 9.0 or later on their PC).

In almost twenty five years in the IT industry I have never seen such a concise explanation as is contained in the Enterprise Readiness 101 course. It contains not only the concepts but well articulated field experience into every module. Every CIO, Product Manager, IT Project Manager, Team Lead, Software Developer, IT Consultant and Deployment Engineer would learn something from this course no matter their experience level.
